So far 2hrs in....Eh but its only been 2hrs, pretty nifty graphics and gameplay design. not giving spoilers though. Was fun pre ordering at gamestop and they had a late night12am sale and i got to cut everyone lol. the strategy guide comes in paper back or the super expensive hard cover i think like 25-35bucks which i was like no thx lol thats stupid

Also picked it up, graphics are very good. I like how the game play flows, but if your not paying attention, can get your ass kicked while its waiting for your command. I don't understand why they changed the wording of the Paradigm (jobs) labels as i thought the JP wording worked better for most of them:

Pretty gay how you get limited in what you can upgrade your character with on the new sphere grid type thing. It opens new levels to upgrade as you progress. But really enjoying it so far. A lot of reading as the log files fills up fast with info if you like to get the whole story of everything.

Hope is a useless whiny bitch who needs to be shot and should never be allowed into a game secondly Vanille is so fucking awesome one of the best chars ever

Although i agree with you about Hope, Vanille's voice is like nails on a chalk board for me, and I can't stand her, at least in the beginning, she has become less obnoxious as I play. Also, watch the Paradigms, sometimes they set up retarded ones, like the only medic choice I had was if both chars were medics, and it loves to set up people as synergists, better off making ones that you want as the party changes. Still working on the weapon upgrades and testing things out there, but get some nice increases to stats from what I have seen so far using random items.

disc 1 went really fast thats kinda a disappointment but disc 2 has been long, im wondering if there will some switching back and forth like star ocean. yeah i dont like the chain system much cause it feels like im always switching i do however like the eidolian system, they improved it from ff12 alot. Hope is good as a synegist mostly. vanille is a great medic but hearing her talk drives me nuts cause off the TEE HEE's. Lightning is awsome though, Afrobirdman seems like a wannabe pussy barrett

I like the black dude in this one. He's cute with his little chocobo. I've loved the game so far, it's definitely beautiful especially on the PS3 with 1080p >.>

But yeah I would agree that it has been fun but not really uber addicting.

gonna have to say, after perfecting the paradigm shift system and figuring out what makes a well balanced team, I absolutely love this battle system. 15hrs in so far, and the only thing I'm aggrivated with is the fact I'm getting a CS every 3 min.

Took a break from the game and an now getting back to it. Anyone else find it annoying that the map rotates to the direction that you are facing and has no compass on it? Having to rely on landmarks on the map for pulse while i'm trying to find all of the missions. My daughter thought it was funny that I got pwned by a giant Catuar from mission 53 or something in that range when im currently working through the teens missions, and happen to unlock that one. Otherwise having fun grinding some points off of Behemoth Kings and avoiding Adamantios's for the time being.

Also played and went through the entire story of this one. It seemed really short, but I haven't completed all of the missions yet so maybe that's why it went by so quickly. The story wasn't bad and graphics were great. Much better game overall than FFXii IMO
